Easter is just around the corner, and while Easter Cards aren’t something that most people send out each year, they are a fun way to celebrate with those far away. My grandmother lives in a different state, and my fondest Easter memories take place in her home. Since I can’t be there to celebrate with her, and I know she loves getting snail mail, this year I will be sending out Easter cards, and she will be getting the first one!
However, I am not sending out your average card, I will be sending out Easter cards with a POP! I am taking about Lovepop cards; these beautiful cards are everything we loved about pop-up books growing up, but with designs for any occasion.
These cards are absolutely beautiful, and I just know my grandmother is going to love receiving one of them; if I can just decide which one to send! The purple card has a gorgeous and intricately designed egg on the front. When you open it, a scene of a newborn baby chick, next to an egg-shaped tree, greets you. There are flowers, and mini eggs in the scene and the same egg seen on the front is added to each corner.
The pink card has a tiny Easter basket filled with eggs on the front. On the inside, a multi-colored 3D Easter egg, and Easter Bunny greet you! In one corner, there is a depiction of two eggs hidden beneath the grass; in the opposite corner, there is a dove with vine work.
I am highly impressed with the design and beauty of these cards. I am equally as impressed with just how they came to exist! Who would have thought that a couple of buddies training to be naval architects, would fall in love with the paper cards from Vietnam?
In addition, they have created multiple ways to send these cards. You ca pick a card, write the message, and send the card, all online. Have an idea for a card? That’s great because Lovepop’s greatest inspiration stems from its customers!
Love pop has even partnered with The Possible Project, where “students are encouraged to think big and are taught the entrepreneurship skills to make their ideas come to life. Students who might not otherwise have the opportunity, come together to learn the skills to start and run their own businesses”
What an amazing company, with amazing cards! I love my Lovepop!
