These are not necessary, but they can help massively. When you work out in a way that improves your muscular strength, you are giving yourself the tools necessary to use your body more fully. Go for this type of fitness training if you frequently feel that your muscles and bones lock up. Similarly, if you are experiencing a lot of muscular pain, choosing this above muscle mass gain could be the right way to go.
