  1. Yosemite National Park

There are certain vacations that everyone should take and one of the best Destinations For Families is going to Yosemite National Park. If you're like me and never been, then it's time to book your trip and go.

Yosemite National Park is in central California, about a five and a half hour drive from Los Angeles or three hours from San Francisco. There are several entrances to the park but if you're coming from either city, the southern entrance is probably the closest.

There are two ways to get into the park: camping and lodging. The lodges are beautiful, of course, but camping in Yosemite is an experience like no other. There's nothing quite like sleeping under the stars with your family after a long day of hiking or rafting – or whatever you've chosen as your adventure for the day.

We went in July so it was pretty hot during the day but at night it cooled down and we were able to use our sleeping bags instead of bringing blankets. Just make sure to bring sunblock because even on cloudy days you can still get burned!

  1. Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. is not just the nation's capital — it's also a great place for families to visit with kids. It's full of free museums, exciting attractions and easy sightseeing options. And it's all conveniently located near famous landmarks like the White House and Capitol Building

There's also plenty to keep kids occupied and learning in Washington, D.C., especially within walking distance of the National Mall. The Smithsonian Institution has 19 museums (many of them geared toward children) and galleries throughout the city that are always free to visit. There are also several memorials dedicated to fallen presidents and soldiers.

  1. Boston

If you are looking for a family-friendly summer vacation spot, look no further than the east coast of the United States. From Boston to Orlando, this region has it all. But one of the best Destinations For Families is going to be Boston, Massachusetts. It has fantastic historical attractions and kid-friendly entertainment options. Let’s take a look at some of the top things that your family can do in Boston during the summer months.

One of the most popular things to do in Boston during the summer is to visit Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox baseball team. Even if you are not a fan of baseball, this is going to be something that you will want to check out while in town. This is the oldest stadium in Major League Baseball and it actually started hosting games back in 1912. It is a beautiful stadium and an important part of American history.

Another must-see attraction in Boston is to head over to the USS Constitution Museum. This museum is located on Pier One and it was opened  back in 1907 as a way for people to learn more about this warship and its role in American history. The Constitution was completed back in 1797 and was one of six original frigates that were built by order of President George Washington.
