A Travel Dock Saves Space
A Travel Dock Will Save You Space And Time! It’s A Great Way To Organize Your Devices Too
Picture this…you’re at work trying to create the best presentation but you don’t have enough ports on your laptop! Now, what do you do? Well, you can scramble and look unprofessional, or you can use the OWC USB-C Travel Dock and look like a boss! This little piece of equipment will help you stay organized and save you time and space. It’s a pretty amazing little device. I keep saying “little” because it is tiny, especially for what it does. It will slip discreetly into your purse, bag, backpack, or even your pocket! It even has a small cord that tucks into the bottom of it and won’t get in the way. I think they’ve thought of everything!
What Is A Travel Dock?
Well, when I first thought about trying this out, I thought it was simply a charger for lots of devices. I learned I was wrong! Apparently, it does so much more. As I said in the intro, it has lots of ports so that you can plug in other devices while using your laptop as the main source of power. It’s compatible with USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 Notebooks, tablets, and devices running macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and Chrome. It’s also bus-powered, or you can use an existing USB-C power adapter. If you’re using your laptop and you need to use, let’s say, a tablet or SD card, you can use this device to plug those into. It will in turn use the power from the laptop to power those devices, all while charging.
Ports Of Connectivity
This device comes with 5 ports of connectivity! You’ll receive 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-A), 1 HDMI, 1 SD card, and 1 USB-C power pass-through. There are up to 100W of pass-through power for a notebook or other devices. I’ve watched some Youtube videos on this type of device and this is apparently really good. Especially in something so small.
I hope this is something that you could use, but remember Father’s Day is in a couple of days! Dad would love this or any other “dad” in your family!
