Oral CBD drops sold by companies such as VSAVI are the most common of all CBD products. CBD oil is the most popular CBD product for several reasons. For one, it tends to cost less than other CBD products because it doesn’t undergo as much processing as some other products such as CBD gummies. A second reason for CBD oil’s popularity is its balanced absorption profile. You get some of the CBD immediately when you hold the oil under your tongue, and you get some later when your digestive system processes the remaining oil after you swallow it. The only problem with CBD oil is that holding it under your tongue can start to get old after a while. In addition, some people have difficulty using CBD oil at all because they can’t tolerate the distinctive flavor.

If you fall into one of those groups – but you don’t want to trade in your affordable CBD oil for a more expensive CBD product – this article is for you. CBD oil is incredibly versatile, and you can use it in an enormous variety of ways. Want to use it on your skin? Dab a little on a problem area and cover the area with a bandage. Want to inhale it? Get a vape pen that can handle oils. Want to use it as a beauty product? Add a few droppers to your favorite lotion. In this article, though, we’re going to dig deep and find some new ways to enhance the traditional oral CBD experience. Add CBD oil to these foods, and you’ll never have to worry about holding the oil under your tongue again.

Note: CBD oil tastes great when added to most foods, but you can’t use it as a high-heat cooking oil because CBD begins to vaporize at about 320 degrees Fahrenheit. If you sauté food with CBD oil, for example, the CBD will evaporate, and you’ll be left with nothing but plain oil. If you’re going to add CBD oil to a food cooked at high heat, add the oil after the food is finished cooking. It’s safe to add CBD oil to foods – such as brownies – that cook at lower temperatures.

CBD Salad Dressing

CBD is an oil-soluble compound, so you’ll always have an easy time mixing it with fats. That’s why it’s so easy to add CBD to beauty products such as lotions. If you want to add CBD to a food product that contains a high percentage of fat, look no further than your standard home-made vinaigrette. In a sealable container, mix three parts oil, one part vinegar, a little salt and pepper and some CBD oil. Add a spoonful of Dijon mustard to give the dressing a creamy consistency. Close the container and shake vigorously until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Drizzle over salad and enjoy.

CBD-Infused Butter

There are two different ways of making CBD butter. The first is through simple mixing; just melt a stick of butter at a low temperature, stir in some CBD oil, pour the butter into a container and let it harden in the refrigerator. If you really want to get fancy, though, you can also simmer your CBD-infused butter for around two hours before pouring it into the container. Just remember that the simmering temperature should never approach 320 degrees. The first method of making CBD butter is just a simple mixing of two oils. The second method fully infuses the CBD into the butter – remember, CBD is oil soluble – to ensure that the CBD is completely dispersed throughout the butter. The full infusion method doesn’t make the batch of CBD butter stronger, but it does ensure that any two servings of equal weight will contain the same amount of CBD.

CBD Bulletproof Coffee

Are you one of the world’s thousands of Bulletproof coffee aficionados? If you are, you’re going to love what CBD does for your fat-infused morning brew – and if you aren’t a Bulletproof coffee drinker yet, why not give it a try? Proponents of Bulletproof coffee swear that replacing a traditional breakfast with the buttery brew enhances mental clarity during the work day and helps to stave off hunger until lunchtime. To make CBD Bulletproof coffee, add two tablespoons of grass-fed butter, one tablespoon of MCT oil and one dropper of CBD oil to a mug of coffee and blend or whisk thoroughly. If it feels like you’re drinking coffee with an oil slick on top, blend the beverage a bit more.

CBD-Infused Smoothie

If you’re not the type who wants to drink a cup of fatty coffee for breakfast, you might be the type who enjoys a morning fruit smoothie. When you add CBD to a smoothie, you’re doubling its ability to promote overall wellness by mixing it with a powerful blend of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. To make a simple CBD-infused smoothie, add a dropper of CBD oil to a blender along with a banana, some mixed frozen berries and a scoop of fat-free yogurt or whey protein. Blend the mixture until it’s smooth enough to drink with a straw. If blending the smoothie makes it too warm for your taste, add a handful of ice cubes and blend the mixture again. The resulting drink should be cold and incredibly refreshing.

Drizzle Over Any Finished Dish

Making your own CBD-enhanced foods is fun, but there may be times when you really don’t feel like doing the extra work – or cleaning the extra dishes – involved with making a CBD-infused coffee, butter or salad dressing. When you don’t feel like adding extra work to your kitchen chores, there’s always a simple way to add CBD to your food: Just drizzle it over any finished dish. Try adding CBD oil to a fatty food such as steak; the CBD will spread throughout the food, and you’ll get a little CBD with every bite. CBD oil also blends easily with desserts such as ice cream.
