I recently received the Murbles Tournament Standard Set, which is a great game that is made in the United States. What the heck is Murbles? Think of marbles (kind of) but in a giant form. In my opinion, it's a cross between marbles and shuffleboard and similar to Bocce. This is a game that truly anyone can play!
Murbles is the perfect game for family reunions, picnics, camping, the beach, tailgating, and anywhere else you want to have fun. From children up to the elderly, everyone can learn how to play this! The person with the target ball will roll it into play, which can be anywhere from 3 to 30+ feet, depending on your preference/skill. The players then roll to get the remaining balls as close as possible to the target ball. Oh, and to make it a little more interesting, once the target ball is rolled, nobody is allowed to move away from the play area! Points are given to only one player that is closest to the target ball.
This game may sound simple, but believe me, it gets competitive (if you want it to) and interesting! Of course, if you're playing with your kids, you will certainly keep it on a playful, fun level. Kids crave family bonding time and this is the perfect thing to give them that.
