Roto-Rooter, that's the name, and away go troubles, down the drain – Roto-Rooter!”
I don't know if you ever heard that jingle, but it an older one. I don't even think they use it anymore although I could be wrong. Regardless, this jingle has stayed in my mind ever since I was a little girl so whoever came up with it really did their job. I have not forgotten about this company and for it to stay in my mind all these years is really a great testament for how catchy the jingle is, and it is also the first thing that comes to minds when I think of clogged pipes whether sink, shower, or toilet.
When I see that the water in my sink is slow to go down the drain or the shower is all clogged, Roto-Rooter is the very first product I think of. If someone tells me they are having a problem, the first question is, “Have you tried Roto-Rooter?” I do that before I even think about calling anybody.
Most of the time the reasons the drains clog is because of soap, grease, or hair. Well, in the kitchen a lot of grease goes down the drain and all that stuff is just sticking and hardening and causing the drain to become blocked. In the bathroom sinks, it can be hair or soap sticking and hardening as it goes down the drain, especially that liquid soap that I use all the time. Forget the shower – that has the most offenses between soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, and of course the most hair out of anywhere else! I try to clean the drain from the hair but obviously, it doesn't all stay visible and some gets down there just blocking and growing.
If the clog is so bad that the water will not even budge no matter how much time you give it to slowly go down the drain, no worries because Roto-Rooter can go through standing water easily. It liquefies the grease and soap, and weakens the hair and breaking it apart so it can flush it away. It is proven also through lab tests that Roto-Rooter clears tough clogs up to 50% faster than other national brands. Other brands do not have the right consistency that Roto-Rooter has and either rest on the surface of the clog or just run through it completely without breaking it up. Never mind trying to get through standing water!
You can also use Roto-Rooter products to clean your septic system if you have one, and they have plenty of videos on Facebook by following “Roto-Rooter Product Line” to help guide you. Don't automatically call the plumber or fight with the drain and get frustrated, try Roto-Rooter and see for yourself how quick that clog is taken care of without the high price tag of a service call.
