MOST EXPECTED MOVIES 2017
If you’re one of those people that enjoy watching movies, then 2017 has yet to keep on surprising you. There are many films that have hit the screen this year and that have had an amazing answer from the audiences around the world. Among them, we’ll mention our top three favorites:
⦁ MAD FAMILIES (JANUARY 12, 2017)
This film kept the audiences laughing for quite a while after its release. It’s an American comedy film that was written by Fred Wolf and David Spade, who’s a part of the “Rules Of Engagement” cast. This movie has Charlie Sheen in its main cast… More reason to watch it. Some of the other people that make part of the cast include:
⦁ Charlotte McKinney
⦁ Naya Rivera, and
⦁ Leah Remini
The plot of the film revolves around three families that compete for a camping spot for their Fourth of July weekend and all of the craziness surrounding this journey. It’s definitely bound to make you laugh… a lot. Still, laughing at a movie doesn’t mean it’s a great one. People were too anxious to see Charlie Sheen on the big screen once again, only to be disappointed when he didn’t play a significant role; besides that, the movie wasn’t really as good as the trailers showed, and that was strongly reflected in its overall financial performance. The audience was simply expecting much more, and the film didn’t meet their expectations.
⦁ WONDER WOMAN (JUNE 2, 2017)
This one’s an entirely different story. Gal Gadot plays the lead role in this film. Don’t know who she is? Well, you’ll remember her face for the rest of your life, because she happens to be the new Wonder Woman… and she’s also physically perfect. The movie isn’t that much different from the one that was released decades ago; other fresh faces like Chris Pine’s and Robin Wright’s make an appearance on the film, and it was highly anticipated by movie viewers.
The movie tells the story of Diana Prince and starts in the present day when she watches a photograph of her in the First World War and then transports the audience into her past to explain how she got to where she is today. There’s simply too much magic and excellent effects in this film, and you can’t miss it! It had a budget of 149 million dollars when it was released; nonetheless, and as of September 20, 2017, Wonder Woman has grossed over 819.5 million dollars globally.
Due to its success, and the fact that this story came out of a comic book, many online users out there have started to write fanfics (fan fiction) to keep the story going.
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT (JUNE 22, 2017)
The thing about Transformers is that it already has its crowd of fans that keeps on getting bigger with every film that’s released. The trailer was promising, and people were going crazy about the release date. Movie theaters were overcrowded for weeks, and luckily, the end result was mesmerizing… just like people had foreseen. What’s not to love about transformers?
It had a budget of around 217-260 million dollars, and as of September 20, 2017, has grossed over 600 million! Just think for one moment how much money that is! Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel hit the big screen once again with new faces around them, including Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, and Isabella Moner. There’s no need to spoil you with what goes on in the 154 minutes that make up this film, but you more or less have an idea already. Go watch it if you already haven’t!
