Books For Kids Of All Ages
When I was little books weren't that exciting to me, however, when I had kids I made sure that I was reading to them quite often. I wanted them to love books since I didn't. I also hoped they would enjoy it because they were getting ready to start school. Now I have granddaughters and I read to them too. That's why I was so excited to receive three books that my granddaughters will love. The first two books I'll show you are for little ones. I can't wait to read these to my smallest granddaughter who is almost 2-years-old. The last book is geared more for 10 to 14-year-olds.
Look! Babies Head To Toe by Robert H. Harris
Look! Babies Head to Toe is a book for toddlers. It shows little ones specific body parts and gets them to point to each one as they follow along. My granddaughter is just learning where her nose, tummy, ears, etc., are, so this book is perfect for her. I like that its' a board book so she can't ruin it by bending the pages. She really loved reading it with me and I think this is going to be a bedtime favorite from now on.
All Aboard! The Airport Train by Nichole Mara
All Aboard! The Airport Train is another board book that I enjoyed reading to my granddaughter. She liked that you could peek into the windows of the train and see people sitting in their seats. This book is an “accordion-style”, meaning it folds like an accordion. It's fun because you have to help passengers find certain items. On the back, there is a place to find even more fun things. My 6-year-old granddaughter liked showing her little sister where the items were when she couldn't find them. We had lots of fun reading this one.
The Son Of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2) by Rick Riordan
The Son Of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2) is book 2 out of the 5 Olympus books. Apparently, Percy awakens in complete confusion. He doesn't know where he is and is a bit puzzled. This book introduces lots of new characters, including monsters! Your pre-teen would surely love to read this interesting book. The reviews are amazing on Amazon and you can get this as a paperback, Kindle, audiobook, hardcover, or even audio CD. I believe this would make a great gift!
