I Have Some Great Boredom Busters For Your Kids – You Might Even Enjoy These Too!
It seems like bonding with our kids is getting harder these days, mainly because of the many screens they're staring at. Trying to pull them away is like pulling teeth. However, bonding with them is so important. Especially with how crazy our world is right now. They need to feel safe and having fun can let us all forget about our problems for a little while. Not to mention, busting the boredom that comes along with staying home all of the time. These amazingly fun games will have all of your family laughing. PlayMonster sent me Yeti in my Spaghetti, Stacktopus, and Colorforms Silly Faces Game. These games are hilarious and so much fun. My granddaughters were having the time of their lives all while we were connecting on a beautiful level. I love it that kids don't know when we're being a little sneaky.
My Favorite Boredom Buster Game
Colorforms Silly Faces Game was my favorite, mainly because my youngest granddaughter could play with us. It's made for ages 3 and up, but even if they don't actually play the game, they can create faces. You will receive 68 re-stickable colorform pieces, 6 game cards, the game board with spinner, and instructions. We all had a blast playing this game. It's straightforward and easy to understand (even for little ones), and the whole time you're simply building funny faces!
Stacktopus is a hilarious stacking game that will have everyone spitting out their drinks. This is for ages 5 and up, but it's a little harder to figure out. Not in an understanding way, but in a dexterity way. The contents include 9 silly sea fingers, 18 cups, 27 cards, and rules. You simply slip on the sea fingers and while you look like an Octopus, you try and stack the cups. Your card will tell you how to stack the cups, but you better hurry because the first one that is done wins! We literally couldn't stop laughing with this one.
Yeti in my Spaghetti is another crazy fun game. It's aimed for ages 4 and up and it includes 30 noodles, the Yeti, a bowl, and of course, the rules. This is so silly because you lay the noodles across the top of the bowl then you sit the Yeti on top of that. Each person removes a noodle but the one that makes the Yeti crash and fall loses the game. This is a great way to teach your little ones good sportsmanship!
Hopefully, you're ready for the holidays, but if you're looking for one last gift, get one of these silly games! Happy Holidays to you all.
