Recently I had received Cameron's hot/cold gel pak to review. There are so many uses for a hot or cold pak. Depending on what you are using it for is whether you want it cold or hot. First of all this pak is quality made. It's easy to care for and easy to clean. For warm applications you can heat it in the microwave on a paper towel for 40 seconds. Remove and redistribute gel inside by kneading and reheating until desired temperature. Remove from microwave and remember to look for punctures or leaks. You can also heat into boiled water. Never put pak in water until it already heated. Remove with tongs to prevent from burning yourself. I used the pak cold and put it in a cooler back with devilled eggs. kept them cold for our BBQ we had gone to. You can also use this to keep baby bottles cold when you are on the go. Its not to heavy and you can bend it around the bottle to keep it colder. You can use the heated gel pak for casseroles, to keep food warm or you can use it as a hot compress for medicinal purposes. To use gel pak cold place in freezer for 3 to 4 hours or overnight. You can use the cold pak to keep items in a cooler cold, put in a casserole bag, use in the insulated bags for grocery shopping for the cold items you do not want to get warm, or you can use it as a cold pak for medicinal purposes.
