When I think about, my younger years, I remember daddy loving his caramels and hard candy his car always had something in it. Vanilla Cow Tales reminds me of him so much, and how he loved his caramels. Cow Tales were launched in the 1980's as a stick-shaped, chewy caramel filled with cream. Cow Tales are available in four flavors: caramel, chocolate, strawberry, and caramel apple.

Caramel Creams
Caramel Creams are a twist-wrapped, chewy caramels with a cream center. Although the original vanilla is the most well-known flavor, Caramel Creams are also available in chocolate, strawberry, apple, and licorice flavors.

Goetze’s Candy Company was officially incorporated in 1959. At that time, Melvin, Jr.'s son, Randle Goetze III, joined the company, followed by his brother, Spaulding Goetze, Sr., in 1965. Over the next few decades, Goetze’s Candy introduced new Caramel Creams® flavors and grew distribution, leading to the first international sale. In 1984, Goetze’s Candy Company launched a new brand of chewy caramel called Cow Tales®.

In the 1990’s, Spaulding Sr.'s sons, Mitchell and Todd Goetze, along with another family member, David Long, joined the company. The 5th generation continues efforts to improve production, introduce new products, and incorporate technology into the everyday operations.
