The holidays brings a time for comfort foods, fun, celebrations, and fond memories. I love making beautiful memories with my children and providing them delicious sweets is how I accomplish one of them. I know my children and myself enjoy delicious homemade cookies that are baked carefully and with exceptional ingredients. So Cookie take a bite is a great choice for me when finding top notch sweets to enjoy with my kids.

Tracy Mattson

Cookie take a bite is is owned by Tracy Mattson who bakes with pristine ingredients and owns a shop in Santa Rosa, California. However, her cookies can also be shipped all over the United States. When they are shipped, they are carefully packaged in a pretty tin box and red tissue paper. When we received our cookies in the mail, it definitely made us smile, and it arrived just in time for the holiday season.

Local and Organic Ingredients

In our beautiful tin box we received some favorite fun and flavorful cookies. Lemon Moon is one of my absolute favorites. It has fresh lemons as a part of the ingredients and in 2012 it won the Harvest Fair Gold Medal. We also received the Classic Chocolate Chip which won the 2018 Harvest Fair Double Gold Medal. Then there’s the Triple Chocolate Threat cookie with yummy dark chocolate chips. A fun holiday cookie is the Ginger Honey Snaps. It is baked with decadent fresh ginger and fresh oranges as a part of the recipe. Lastly, my children really favored the Snickerdoodle Sugar cookie, because they love the creamy flavor of the organic butter milk and cinnamon.

There are more flavors such as the Chocolate Raspberry Splash and Mocha Frost. For those who need gluten free options, she has those as well.  Her Almond and Cardamom Roll is a favorite gluten free and vegan option that earned her the 2012 Gold Harvest Fair Winner.
