Metabolism means that diets are bad news in most cases. The less you eat, the slower your metabolism. Hence, if you eat a big meal after you’ve been dieting, it’ll go straight to your hips. If you eat more, it’s more likely that the fat will be burnt as energy. If you starve your body, it’ll grab every last piece of fat from each meal.
