Element Tea

Emily Schromm, CEO and founder of Element Tea, has been working for over three years to perfect her herbal tea blends. She believes that connecting back to nature is more than drinking a cup of tea. Emily believes this process is all about understanding your power. Realizing that we are more than just flesh and blood, we are of this earth.

“Your body will be around longer than any expensive handbag. Invest in yourself.”

It’s important to connect with everything that is a part of your life, especially the foods and beverages that nourish and replenish your body and energies. These teas are an extension of the intuitive wonderful creatures that we are. A beautiful mix of fire, earth, air, and water, each blend is uniquely made with a passion to grow the understanding that nature has all we will ever need. Whether you need a pick me up to your day or something to calm your anxious mind or relieve the pains associated with stomach aches, these unique blends of herbs and spices can help you in a more natural way.

The leaves that are used in most commercial teabags are primarily the “fanning and dust“ from broken tea leaves. You have probably never had a teabag that you could see actual tea leaves. I’m guessing that you are like most people and you’ve typically seen the finely broken and crushed up leaves, almost the size of black pepper and table salt. This is a huge compromise in the quality that you would receive from full leaf tea. When steeped, those other teas release more tannins that whole leaf teas do, because they have lost most of their essential oils and aroma which in return results in bitter, astringent brews.

Tea leaves need a room to expand for full bodied flavor. This is the main reason why most people now use tea infuser‘s for brewing their loose leaf tea.

Resveralife Chinese Teapot

One of my favorite kitchen companions for brewing my tea is this gorgeous, cast iron teapot from Resveralife.

This cast iron teapot with infuser is a revision of the Yixing teapot. It has a similar size and shape, with vintage detailing to make it all the more elegant.

Loose leaf teas have plenty of room to soak and expand during the steeping process. Having the stainless steel infuser basket helps you to receive all the antioxidant strength and relaxation properties from every cup that you pour.

Cast iron teapots can last for a lifetime. Cast iron also helps to enhance the flavor of your teas without retaining it. It also helps to maintain high temperatures for a longer period of time.

Resveralife’s Chinese teapot is a beautiful piece of functioning art. It would make a wonderful gift for yourself or a loved one. It pairs beautifully with the Element Tea blends. If you drink what you love and infuse it in something that’s beautiful and functional, you’ll never look at those other teabags the same way ever again.
