Q bitz Jr

They say children learn best through play. So, I always have a wide assortment of board games in my home. Instead of watching television on a Saturday night, or when company stops over, we play games. Q bitz Jr is becoming a fast favorite in my home. The kids love it because it's fun and I love it because it helps teach STEM themes.

Q bitz JrIf you have never heard of Q bitz Jr let me tell you a little about. It's perfect for ages 3 years old and up. You can make it challenging if you are playing with older kids.

Q Bitz Jr available at MindWareInside Q bitz Jr. you'll find 4 sets of blocks in 4 different colors (each set is one color), 3 wooden trays and 60 cards with designs on them. The object of the game is to be the first one to arrange your blocks to match the card. According to the rules of the game, there should be about 4 rounds. On the 1st round, anyone can pull the card and the first person to match the design wins the card. Then on rounds 2-4, everyone rolls their dice and then someone pulls the card. Then each player tries to match the card with what the dice show. They continue to roll the dice until they land in a way that can be used to complete the pattern.

Q Bitz Jr STEM game When I'm playing with my 3-year-old I just let him try to match the pattern any way he can. For him, it's more about learning spacial awareness and shapes. But if I have the older two playing I make them roll. The whole time. They are much faster and I need to give the little guy a chance to catch up to them.

Q bitz Jr works with as few as 2 players to 4 players. Depending on your child's spatial reasoning you may be able to let them play before they turn 3. The goal of Q bitz Jr is to help your child with pattern matching, spatial reasoning, problem-solving, visualization and more. All these are components of STEM.

You can purchase Q bitz Jr online at MindWare. And while you are there, be sure to check out all their other STEM and STEAM products.
