An engagement is one of the happiest times for two people.
That said the right ring can be the icing on the cake, especially for the women who is about to marry the man of her dreams.
For guys, as exciting as popping the question can be, making sure their lady gets the ring she’s always wanted is of course important.
So, what should a guy do in order to find the best ring at the best price?

Do Your Research and Choose Wisely
In order for guys to find that perfect ring for their other half, some notable time and effort is definitely required.
Finding the process to be an easier one is making sure you do the following:
Shop wisely – While there are countless jewelry stores nationwide to choose from, guys should settle on a handful of quality shops and then go from there. Once you have your shops in mind, take the time to visit them and spend some time there. Get a feel for not only the jewelry available, but also the level of detail and customer service afforded you. Are the owner and staff able to answer any and all questions you have? Are they able to craft a design that your bride-to-be truly wants? Are they willing to work with you as far as a payment plan if you can’t afford the entire price of the ring at once?
Use referrals – Like many purchases in life, it is not uncommon for people to turn to family and friends in asking their advice on an engagement ring purchase. Whether one has purchased an engagement ring from Front Jewelers or one of the many other jewelry stores nationwide, ask those you know about their personal buying experiences. Would they recommend certain jewelry stores? What was their purchase like? Did one jewelry store stand out above all the rest when it came to customer service?
Getting her opinion – All guys are smart enough (at least one hopes so) to get the opinion of their significant other. Does she like a certain style and/or setting? What would be her top color choice? Is she looking for something on the louder side or something more subtle? These are but a few of the questions you will want to be able to answer in making that all important selection. While you certainly want to surprise her with the delivery of the engagement ring, having her along for the selection process (at least as far as getting some ideas as to what she likes) is very important;
Visit social media and other online sites – Along with checking out jewelry store websites in your area, social media is another great option to educate yourself in the latest in engagement rings. Be sure to turn to sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc. It also would not hurt to stroll on by YouTube, looking for any videos related to jewelry stores and engagement rings. More and more jewelry stores nationwide are finding out just how valuable social networking sites can be for their businesses. You should also look to engage with other consumers in search of engagement rings. Whether you know it or not, both Instagram and Snapchat have risen greatly in popularity over the last year or two. With that being the case, jewelers are taking advantage of such opportunities to post articles, images, videos and more related to their respective stores. Lastly, look for online open forums to also discuss your engagement ring needs. Consumers in many cases will share their experiences (good and even sometimes bad) with various jewelry stores nationwide.

Sure, there is probably going to be a little stress (oftentimes financial) in finding just the perfect ring for that special person in your life.
That said the search for an engagement ring can also be one of the more exciting times in your life.
Make the most of it by taking your time and doing your research.
In the end, your soon-to-be partner will be happy that you took the time and effort to locate the ring of their dreams.
Once that happens, you can both sit back and relax….that is until it comes time to plan the wedding.
