This Is An Exciting Cooperative Board Game For Players That Enjoy Choosing Their Own Adventure
Remember the old board games we used to play as kids? Well, to be honest, they're bored games if you ask me! They just lack a sense of adventure and excitement. Another thing you get with the old games is competition because you never work together, you play against one another. Well, if you're looking for a cooperative board game you're going to love Adventure Games: The Grand Hotel Abaddon by Thames & Kosmos. This is so much fun because all players work together to find clues and eventually solve the mystery! It reminds me of the old books where you would choose a certain number and it would take you to a room, then if you chose a different number you'd go elsewhere. Same idea but so much better!
Cooperative Is So Much Better
When you go to a friend or family's house to play a game it can get quite competitive, which doesn't make for a fun time. At least that's my opinion. Also, if you have pre-teen or teens playing you'll want to be a bit of a role model, am I right? This game is for ages 12 and up, which is why I believe cooperative is so much better. Teaching them to play together for the same goal is so much more entertaining rather than going it alone. Not only is it fun but the way this game is set up makes it exciting!
The choices you decide to make will depend on what happens to you next. I find this so exhilarating because you never know what's coming. You'll need to explore the hotel, find as many clues as you can, share information with one another, and so much more. Each player will choose their own role and I love that there are many different possible endings depending on your choices. That's why I love this game and I'm sure you will too!
