FitVine Wine for the Calorie Conscience

Very rarely do I get excited about wines, but with FitVine Wine I just couldn’t help myself, I was really excited to it.  You may think I am nuts for actually feeling excited about trying a wine when there are so many out there, but there is a good reason I was.

FitVine Wine has so many things special about it that I don’t even know where to begin.  First, it has fewer carbs and calories than other wines (I guess that is where the name FitVine really holds true).  Most wines are 90 calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates per 5 ounce glass except for Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir which have 95 calories and 3.4 grams of carbohydrates per 5 ounce glass.  This is really the wine for people who are watching calories or even just watching what it is they are exactly putting in their bodies.  It also has less sugar with less than 1.5 grams per liter which is the sugar that is naturally found in the alcohol.

Another thing that is huge is the resveratrol level in this wine.  I am not sure if you have heard about resveratrol but if you are aware of antioxidants you probably have heard of it.  If you haven’t, resveratrol is an antioxidant which they say can help protect your body against damage that put people at higher risk for cancer and heart disease.  I have heard cardiologists talk about this a lot in my field of work.  Grapes have it, and the grapes they use are grown in high altitudes which naturally yield higher concentrations of resveratrol.  Independent testing has shown that FitVine Wines have up to 10 times higher levels of resveratrol than other wines.  This is huge.  Not only is it less calories and carbs, but you are getting 10 times the antioxidant properties.   FitVine wine is additive free and chemical free.

Another thing I hear people talk about with wine is the sulfites.  I actually know someone who is very sensitive to sulfites and stays away from wine because of that reason.  FitVine Wines has about 1/3 the sulfites of your typical wines.  You will find sulfite levels of 75 to 150 parts per million in most wines for example, and FitVine Wines only have 35 parts per million so for those people trying to stay away from sulfites this is a great way to do it and enjoy your wine also.

FitVine Wines are double filtered, are vegan, and have no GMO’s. I tried both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Rose varieties, and the taste was great and you are missing nothing with the less calories, sulfites, carbs, and you  are getting the added benefit of the higher level of resveratrol so whether you are looking to cut calories or carbs, have more antioxidants, or less sulfites, FitVine Wine fits the bill.
