Fun Stuff For Pre-Teens

Pre-Teens Need Fun Stuff To Do Too!  I Have A Game And A Craft For Them That You Need To See – They'll Love It

Pre-teens have got to be one of the hardest ages to buy for, don't you agree?  It seems like they're bored most of the time, so I wanted to find something that would keep them busy and be fun for them to enjoy!  Thankfully, Thames and Kosmos sent me EXIT: Theft on the Mississipi game and Creatto: Moonlight Elephant Safari.  These two products are so cool and I certainly cannot wait to get my hands “dirty” by playing with them.  My granddaughter is only 8 years old, but with my help, we will definitely enjoy creating the elephant!  The game, on the other hand, I will be bringing to a family get together.  I'm sure everyone will enjoy playing it while we figure out who the thief really is.

Pre-Teens Love Creating And Using Their Brains

I would say most kids, pre-teens included, love to create and use their brains in many ways.  That's why there are so many crafts and fun activities in the stores for this age.  From making bracelets to building robots there is no shortage of ideas for them.  However, I like to make sure the products that I purchase with my hard-earned money are going to be of good quality.  I noticed right away that the game EXIT: Theft on the Mississippi is definitely a nicely made game.  What do I mean by that?  Well, it's not one of those silly, substandard games that a big company puts together just to make some money.  This is thoughtfully put together and it's fun, interactive, and certainly challenging!  Kids of all ages will love it.

Fun And Games

What you will get when you play EXIT: Theft on the Mississippi is a fun mystery, to say the least.  You play as a team of investigators traveling on an old steamboat.  Sounds fun already, right?  You have to find the thief that stole some expensive documents, but it's not that easy!  You only have a limited amount of time.  One of the things I love about this game is that you all work together.  What a great family bonding activity to do together on a rainy night!  I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

The Creatto: Moonlight Elephant Safari creation is so awesome.  There are so many kids (even the ages 12 and above) that still like a night light.  I even enjoy some light in my bedroom, mainly because I need to see everything for my many bathroom trips throughout the night.  Kids will absolutely love putting together this fantastic, interchangeable light.

What Comes In The Kit?

The elephant kit that I received comes with 40 Creatto pieces, a string of 20 LED lights, and I'm happy to say instructions!  Oh, you get enough in your kit to build not only the elephant, but you can also make a kangaroo, a safari lantern, and even a fox.  Everything is interchangeable.  Obviously, you can't build all of these separately.  You can create one or the other.  You can also use one for a while, then when you get tired of looking at it, change it up to something else.  I love this!  The ages on this specific kit are for 6 years and older, so my 8-year-old granddaughter will actually have no problem.  She is going to enjoy seeing this glow in her room while she relaxes.

Valentines Day is coming upon us and kids deserve to be included in the fun!  I used to buy my kids hearts and candy, but what better way to say “I love you” than with a fun activity?  Plus, you won't have to worry about the sugar rush.  Happy Valentines Day to you and your family!
