One of my favorite times of the year is Spring. I love jelly beans that you get at Easter, . especially the black ones, I take after daddy. Recently I came across Gimbal’s Fine Candy. They make Gourmet Jelly Beans all year round so I don’t have to wait till Easter. They make a few of my new favorites. Alexander Gimbal founded Gimbal Candy Kitchen in 1898 in downtown San Francisco. Four generations later Gimbal Candy Kitchen is still making delectable treats.
When I was given the chance i jumped at it thinking these are going to be great Jelly beans and they were, I can not believe all that came in my box it was so much.
My favorite of the cherry lovers was the cherry cola flavor. These would be fun to use on Valentine's Day cupcakes. And the sour ones they were so good. The company makes Gourmet Jelly Beans, Sour Gourmet Jelly Beans, Cherry Lovers®, Honey Lovers®, Sour Lovers®, All Natural Licorice Scotties®, and chewy cinnamon LavaBalls® (I would love to try these!) All are certified kosher pareve by the Orthodox Union and are made in the USA. 10-14 oz bags have an MSRP of $4.29 each.
The Gourmet Jelly Beans are made with real fruit juice and come in 41 flavors! They come in a great variety of color and are also packed with Antioxidant Vitamin C and burst with real juice and intense flavor. I really enjoyed eating these and liked that on the back of the bag they have all the Jelly Beans and tell what flavor they are. Along with the original Gourmet Jelly Beans I got to try the Sour Gourmet Jelly Beans. They were sour and come in twelve juicy flavors. If you are sour fan these would be for you. They also are packed with Antioxidant Vitamin C.
All Natural Licorice Scotties. These are so cute in the shape of a dog and they had lots of licorice flavor. These were soft and chewy. It is one of the first candies made by the Gimbal family back in 1898.
