I had used the Italian meatball mix to my meatballs. It made them taste so great. They were very yummy. With these blends it make it s much easier to cook. The perfect steak blend also gave an amazing taste to my steak. The ultimate burger blends made the ordinary beef have an amazing taste. I like the fact that these herbs are already put together so you add what you need to your meals and no guessing on what herbs you want to use. I have wanted to make Swedish meatballs for a long time. I never made them afraid of how they would come out. The healthy solutions spice blends made it so easy. I can not wait to try more of their flavors.
For the following Swedish Meatballs
Prep Time: 5 minutes Serves 8
Cook Time: 45 minutes or 8-10 Hours (Depending on cooking method)
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
3 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. Healthy Solutions Spice Blends Savory Meatloaf
2 tbsp. milk
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup Beef Broth
½ cup Heavy cream or milk
3 white button mushrooms, finely diced
4 tbsp. all purpose flour
Meatballs: Preheat oven to 375°. Combine egg, bread crumbs, 3 Tbsp. Healthy Solutions Spice Blends Savory Meatloaf, and 2 tbsp. milk. Add beef and mix well with hand or spoon. Prepare baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Shape mixture in to 1” balls and place on prepared surface. Bake 18-20 minutes, turning once, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.
Sauce: Combine cream or milk, beef broth, 2 tsp. Healthy Solutions Savory Meatloaf blend, and mushrooms in a sauce pan on low heat. Stir in flour 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly, until sauce reaches desired thickness.
STOVETOP: Combine meatballs and sauce. Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
SLOW COOKER: Combine meatballs and sauce in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 1-4 hours.
