We love to cook and my sister is best at whipping up some amazing new receipes, she can take alot of cool things from the cheeses she has tried to make some different stuff.

Creamy Havarti has a buttery and gentle, rich taste, is semisoft and has a mellow aroma. Creamy Havarti is the perfect complement to any meal, adding that perfect creamy touch when used in a sandwich, or shredded over fajitas. Also try it melted on a burger or flatbread, stirred into casseroles or pastas, or cubed for easy, delicious snacking. Size available: 8 oz. chunk.

  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 4 slices whole-grain bread (such as Eureka! Organic Bread)
  • 4 tablespoons spinach basil pesto
  • 4 Arla® Dofino® Creamy Havarti Slices (or 4 ounces, grated)
  • 23 cups sliced artichoke hearts
  • sea salt for sprinkling on sandwich

Instructions

Butter the outsides of the bread with butter. Spread the insides of the bread slices evenly with pesto. Put a slice of Havarti on the bottom piece of bread, add artichoke hearts, and top with another slice of Havarti. Place the other piece of bread on top, creating a sandwich.

She made this for dinner one night and it tasted so good. The only thing we left out was the artichokes, no one really likes them, Either way the sandwich is

The original Fontina cheese from Italy is fairly pungent and has an intense flavor, however, Fontina cheeses that are produced in other countries can be much milder. The Danish version is often found in U.S. grocery stores and can be distinguished from Italian Fontina by the red wax rind – Italian Fontina has a natural rind due to aging, which is usually tan to orange-brown.

  • 1 baguette
  • 14 cups onion marmalade
  • 4 slices smoked bacon
  • 8 ounces Arla® Dofino® Fontina Wedges
  • Lurpak® Slightly Salted Butter for frying

Instructions

Cutting on the bias, cut 16 thin slices from the baguette. Lay them flat on a baking pan and top with a dollop of onion marmalade. Set aside.
