Improve Your Balance With This Board
When I was younger I had the best balance. I could skateboard, rollerskate, and I could even ice skate. You never think that you're going to ever lose the ability, but unfortunately, you do as you get older. It probably doesn't help that I've gained weight too. I'm now 51 years young and I can't balance to save my life. I'm so excited about using the Whirly Board to improve my balance! It sounds like fun, doesn't it? It actually is! This board is specifically made to help anyone gain better balance, all while having fun. Looking at it, you'd think that it's a skateboard. It's crafted beautifully and man is it solid. You won't have to worry about breaking this thing. I'm a heavy girl and it holds me just fine. This is a quality-made product.
Fun With Balance
Did I mention that you can spin on this board? It's so cool! It's created with a big, center balance ball (on the underside) which gives you the option to either balance, spin or fall a couple of times before you get the hang of it. I've certainly done my share of falling off. Thankfully, it doesn't hurt at all. The top of the board has skateboard grip tape to give you better traction. It's best to use with your shoes on, but it certainly won't hurt if you have your socks on. On each side of the center balance ball, there are two smaller balance balls with rubber gaskets to give some shock absorption. Once you get the hang of it you can spin, jump, and even try out some tricks if you dare.
Use The Board For Fitness
Not only is the balance board fun to play with, but you can also use it to workout. Trust me, when you use this for the first couple of times, you'll understand how much of a workout it is. The cool thing is you can even use the board with your hands! Think of it as trying to stabilize yourself as you balance your arms/hands on the board (almost like a pushup). I'm certainly not there yet, but you never know!
