We love traveling and there are times when we stay in the cabins in Tennessee, and we are either on the third floor or the bottom. When I was given the chance get some Motorola Talkabout two-way radios, I said to my husband this will be great to have.

We have used these a couple of times now and they are great, we can hear loud and clear from them. Now all we have these its much easier to get a hold of each other, better than yelling for them. The signal to alert someone is loud and clear.

The Motorola Talkabout is the must-have communication tool for each and every outdoor enthusiast. This radio is perfect for dad and his friends to stay in touch when out of cell phone range whether tackling a backcountry trail, kayaking or trying to brave a crowded theme park.

With a range of up to 25 miles and the freedom to communicate wirelessly, the Talkabout T260 lets you stay in touch with family and friends, whether tackling a back country trail or camping in the woods. This lightweight, compact and durable radio comes packed with
essential features, like NOAA weather channels and alerts, and iVOX/VOX hands-free communication, so it’s easy to stay in touch – and stay safe – no matter what your situation.

We love using this and making all kinds of weird noises into it, my sister has a habit of doing that at night. But these are the best things we have got and they work great, I am so glad that I got these, making our vacations so much easier. Another great feature about these radios are once the rechargeable battery pack dies, you can just pop it out and use 3 AAA, so you're good to go for the most part as long as you're carrying extra batteries just in case.

Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to: terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.
