My favorite part of my entire house is the kitchen. I grew up with a love for cooking, and it often times how I show my love for my family. Most of the cooking that I do is from scratch, so I have a lot of mixing bowls; glass, plastic, and stainless steel. The downside to these bowls is that they have the traditional round edge. This can make pouring difficult, and messy, depending on what it is you are mixing up.

I love to bake, so I need a mixing bowl that is large enough to mix all of my ingredients in, but easy to pour from. That's why I absolutely love these nesting mixing bowls from TSP by Architec. They come in three sizes; 1.5qt, 3qt, and 5qt. Each mixing bowl has a pouring edge, which is very nice and makes pouring batters so much easier, and less messy! Each bowl has a non-slip coating on the bottom, to make sure that the bowl stays in place while mixing.

I tried these bowls with several different batters, to test how well they would pour. I mixed up everything from scrambled eggs, to a cake batter, muffin batter, and pancake/waffle batter.  Pouring from these mixing bowls was great! I was able to pour pancakes straight from the bowl, instead of having to use a measuring cup. I was able to evenly measure batter for a two layer cake, without any edge spilling, or dribbling. Mostly I love these mixing bowls because, with the non-slip bottom, I can let my kids help me in the kitchen, without risking a bowl slipping and hitting the ground!

One thing that can really draw me to a company, aside from their products, is how they give back. This is one of those companies. 5% of the sales from TSP products, goes toward their Bake For Benny Fund, which benefits various animal charities and shelters. Now that's something I can get behind, and with all the great items that TSP carries, there is something for everyone!
