Newman’s Own Organics Review and Giveaway

recently was given the chance to receive a box full of Newman's Own Organics products. My first thought when I opened the package was why didn't I know about Newman's Own Organics sooner? I'd really been missing out! They have a huge variety of organic snack products that would satisfy my sweet tooth or my occasional salty snack craving. Their products include cookies, chocolates, licorice, pretzels, dried fruit, popcorn, mints (organic mints!!!!), and more. Obviously these aren't what you would call “healthy”, but they make an amazing occasional treat that is free of all the worrisome chemicals and hormones that may be in the average snack foods. The fact that the ingredients are organic and high quality means that they also taste better than similar non-organic snack products.

I didn’t know what to open first. I closed my eyes and picked a package. The first thing we opened was the Newman-O’s Creme Filled Chocolate Cookies. The were crispy on the outside and creamy in the inside. It wasn’t long before they were gone.

Next is Newman’s Own Organic Pretzels and with ten varieties to choose from, a pretzeloholic like me will totally fall off the wagon. If I have to choose, I will go with Mighty Pretzel Mini would be my fave. What is great about all their pretzels is they are baked (not fried), and make a great low-fat, healthy snack with only 1 to 1.5 gram fat (no trans-fat).

My next two faves are Newman-O’s Regular and Newman-O’s Hint of Mint. The creme filled chocolate wafer cookies are a dreamy tantalizing mix of flavor. The perfect snack to have with a tall glass of milk! Each cookie is just the right mix of creme and crunch!
