Start And End Your Day The Right Way

Recently, I watched a quirky film about a time traveller who could only go back in time. Without spoiling the ending incase you look it up later, the message he received was to live each day of his life twice. Life can be stressful and often days can seem awful. If we could live each day twice, we would appreciate the little things that make life wonderful. It made me think how brilliant it would be if everyone could do that. Unfortunately, that is not possible but we can still make the most of our life can’t we. The problem is that to do that you have to be in the right frame of mind each day. Using these tips, I guarantee you will appreciate each day more and reduce stress, leading to a healthier living.

 

When You Wake Up

 

When you wake up I want you to splash your face with cold water and give your skin a good scrub. This will invigorate your skin and when you look in the mirror, you will be happy with what you see. You can try a cold shower as well if you like, but this is not for everyone.

 

Avoid relying on coffee in the morning because coffee is a drug. It is a legal drug but make no mistake, in many ways caffeine is just as bad as a number of illegal narcotics. Like any drug, it has an up and a down and you can become dependent on it to receive your morning high. You may think you need a cup of joe in the morning but eventually you will wake up realizing you feel far better without it.

 

Also, be sure to get a good full breakfast. A lot of people these days are skipping the first meal of the day to save time. You should never do this and it is especially important that your kids are eating breakfast. Otherwise they will not be in the right frame of mind for a full day of school.

 

Through The Day

 

Like in the film you can try to appreciate the little things in life that make it wonderful. But, this is often quite hard to do, particularly when a day just does not seem to be going your way. What you can do is try to avoid the stress caused by negative things happening before it starts to build up. Try taking deep breaths in situations that cause you anxiety or closing your eyes and letting your mind go blank for a moment. It sounds simple but it really does help.

Finally at days end you want to relax in comfort and the best way to do this is having a wonderful bed. Air beds are perfect for comfort because they are completely adjustable. If you want to compare a couple brands, look up air number mattress online and find out which one suits you. Also, try switching off all the electric devices in your room once you are ready to settle down for the night. Electric devices have been proven to disturb sleep patterns.
