Have you ever tried a subscription box service? Well, have I got one that's fun and useful and one that will definitely provide some pampering time just for you (or someone you love). It's called the JoahBox.
JoahBox is a subscription box that provides you with Korean beauty products. As a subscriber to their JoahSquad, you will receive 5 to 7 products, including skin and hair care products and makeup. And, to make their product selection even better, they are full-sized products. What I truly appreciate about the JoahBox is that, according to their website, they only utilize products that are cruelty free and “products with the cleanest formulas that respect customers and our ecosystem.”
What's In My JoahBox?
In my JoahBox, I received the following products:
- Origin Moist Relief Cream,
- Sebum Out Deep Cleansing Stick,
- Sally's Box Friendly Collagen Eye Patch,
- I'm Sorry For My Skin Whitening Comma Mask, and
- Satin Fit Eye Shadow in Creamy Ale.
Now, I'll tell you a little bit about each product to give you a sense of the types of products JoahBox provides. Note, however, the products vary from month to month and may differ from the products in my box.
Moisturizer
The first product, Origin Moist Relief Cream, is a cream that helps provide calming and moisturizing effects. JoahBox recommends this for dry and sensitive skin. I really like this cream a lot! It goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized without feeling greasy.
Something For Blackheads (And Whiteheads)
The Sebum Out Deep Cleansing Stick is another product I'm super excited about. I have blackheads that annoy me to no end! You can utilize this product to help rid of those pesky blackheads and whiteheads. And, with this product, you'll find a dual stick, which includes charcoal powder and peppermint leaf extract and a silicone brush. I much prefer this over a more harsher alternative!
A Soothing Eye Patch
Next is Sally's Box Friendly Collagen Eye Patch. This hydrogel eye patch does a few things: it provides moisture and nutrition and, according to the pamphlet, it “helps tighten sagging skin.” It can also be super soothing, which I think would be perfect after a long hard day!
Something for A Brighter Complexion
The I'm Sorry For My Skin Whitening Comma Mask helps to clear your skin and provide it with a brighter appearance. According to JoahBox, “It is composed of only 10 essential ingredients to minimize the one that can cause skin irritation” (from instruction pamphlet).
Finish It Off With Eye Shadow
And then there is the Satin Fit Eye Shadow. This one I'm super excited about. It has a beautiful neutral color with a subtle shimmer to give your eyelids a bit of pizzaz without overdoing it! This is totally up my alley because I don't like a ton of makeup color on my face. It comes in a small container so you can easily carry it in your purse. And, the instructions say you can apply with a brush or your finger! So, it's portable and goes on easily.
Other Stuff And How To Get Your JoahBox
You also receive a very informative instruction pamphlet that explains a bit about each product and how to use each one. My box also came with 2 beautiful fabric bags (as featured in my picture), which would make nice gift bags or bags to keep your JoahBox products in.
