Don’t worry, though; this doesn’t mean you need to break the bank on a party budget. In fact, there are a lot of exciting party ideas that you will be able to do on a budget. You’ll still have plenty to spend on a special birthday present! So do you want to know some party ideas that will blow your children away? Here are some fantastic ones that will put a big smile on the birthday boy or girl’s face.

Bubble Football

Does your child love playing football or soccer in the park? If so, they will absolutely love bubble football. It’s basically a game of soccer, the only difference is that all the players wear bubble football suits. This means that all the players will be fully protected. So you should expect some heroic dives across the pitch! Bubble football can be played both inside and outside, so where you hold the party will be up to you. Just make sure that there is enough space for all the kids to jump around in their bubble suits!

Ice Skating

Do you live near a local ice rink? Then why not book it and hold an ice skating party for your child. Many rinks can be booked for children’s parties. But even if the one near you can’t be, you can still take a group of children along to the regular skating sessions. Many ice rinks have a cafe, so you and the kids will be able to grab a bite to eat after all the skating. Some ice rinks may even be able to cater for parties. Even if they don’t, though, you should still take a birthday cake along with you. The staff in the cafe will be able to plate it up for you once you’re all done skating.

Go Ape

Have you ever heard of Go Ape before? It is a company who creates outdoor activity centers. Most of them take visitors on a journey up into the canopy of forests. Kids will get the chance to make their way through the canopy using various zip lines and Tarzan swings. There will be a few different obstacles to make your way past along the way as well! This is great for older children and teenagers. You can choose to join them in the canopy if you like. Or you can stay with your feet firmly on the ground so that you are able to take some awesome photos!

Scavenger Hunt

Kids of all ages will love going on a scavenger hunt. You can make them as simple or as complicated as you like. Obviously, if there will mainly be young children at the party, it is probably a good idea to keep it nice and simple. When you are hiding items and writing clues, make sure that it will be easy for the children to find everything. But it shouldn’t be too easy! So don’t be worried about throwing in some sneaky clues that might stump your kids! After all, it is all part of the fun of a scavenger hunt. If you aren’t inviting too many kids to the party, you should have enough space to hide your items in your garden. But if you are expecting a few people, think about taking the scavenger hunt to your local park.

Backyard Movie Party

Does your child love movies? Then how about planning a movie party in your backyard. All you need is a projector that you can connect to a DVD player or laptop. Take these devices outside and point the projector at a wall or fence. You may need to hang a white sheet over fences so that you can see the projected movie clearly. Then spread out a few blankets on the lawn so all the kids can sit down and watch the movie under the stars. Don’t forget the popcorn! This is a great party idea for summer evenings. You could even make a picnic for the kids to enjoy while watching the movie.

Hopefully, this blog post has given you plenty of party ideas for your kids. After you’ve tried one, you will never want to go back to boring tea parties ever again!
