Their products were originally sold door-to-door around the world with salesman traveling by horse and buggy. “The McNess Man” is listed in the Dictionary of American Regional English, which means products from this company are part of the historical registry at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.

The McNess Man products are still manufactured in the US, using traditional formulas. They are in the process of bring back many of their products that were discontinued in the past.
