Acne is so annoying. I know because I have had the condition off and on since adolescence. There are many products available to soothe and treat acne, but it’s hard to decide what will work best for you. It’s also important to note that acne and skin type may change over the years, therefore affecting how you deal with blemishes. In my experience, trial and error will help you find the best solution to coping with acne.
Control Blemishes with Natural Ingredients
I have had all types of pimples, including papules, pustules, whiteheads, blackheads, and even nodules and cysts. For the earlier years and for my more extreme breakouts, I enlisted the help of a dermatologist and prescribed medications. For control of milder breakouts as I get older, I prefer using acne treatments made from natural ingredients. Suitable for all types of acne, these are perfect for more sensitive skin types too that may experience adverse reactions to harsh chemicals.
A great brand to help diminish acne and acne scars is Banish. Created by YouTube blogger, Daisy Jing, the Banish product line contains some of my favorite treatments:
Pumpkin Enzyme Masque – $39 – It is best for those who have dry skin and need healing from any skin issues. It dries out the active acne (making it smaller and diminishes it size), reverses skin damage, and brightens the skin. This is commonly used by those who have acne and white/black heads on the skin. So you have an active zit and your event is tomorrow right? Then you can count on this mask that dries up acne in 2-3 days!
Vitamin C Crème – $39 – A hydrating cream that will help diminish acne scars and leave your skin feeling fresh, youthful, clear, and glowing! Absorbs quickly into skin for a non-greasy feel for people with oily or combination skin. This Vitamin C Cream is concentrated with 20% Vitamin C. You only need a small pea-sized dab for your whole face!
What I love about Banish is that it was created by Daisy who struggled with bad acne herself. She tried everything to clear it up. After her personal trial and error with hundreds of products, she was able to make her own natural skin care line. During the acne healing process, it is important not to let yourself get down (I know this bit is hard, believe me!). Natural skin care products are not for everyone, so make sure to do your research. Eventually, you will reach your goal in getting rid of the blemishes with time and patience.
