People talk about makeup all the time. They discuss which brands they love, which they hate; what new color palettes or trends are hot for the season; the best deals and steals on their favorites. But, I hardly ever hear people talking about one of the most basic makeup essentials that everyone needs and is a fairly universal, one-size-fits-all kind of product. A makeup mirror!
Ahh! Yes. We all use them to pore over our face looking for blemishes to cover up, eyebrows to tweeze, and to make sure our foundation is blended all the way in, etc. I have found what I believe are the best mirrors I’ve ever owned. Are you interested yet? Well, let’s get right into it. First, the mirror you need to have on your vanity table is the 4-in-1 Portable LED Lighted Makeup Mirror. This mirror measures 11″ x 13″ and is a really beautiful rose gold color and features four mirrors in one (1X, 2X, 3X, and a 10X detachable pocket mirror). It's powered by USB or batteries (which are included).
The 1X, 2X, and 3X mirrors are built into the base unit. But the 10X round mirror is separate and has two suction cups on the back so you can use it independently or affix it to the mirror, whichever is your preference. I love the detachable 10X mirror because it’s a huge help when tweezing my eyebrows, keeping me from contorting my body trying to get close to the mirror and still having room to maneuver my arm without hitting the mirror or knocking it over.
The battery compartment is on the rear of the mirror. It uses 4 AAA batteries which are included in the packaging. If you’re out of batteries (which I always seem to be) it can be powered by attaching the included micro cable to a USB port.
To use the mirror you need to push the black ON/OFF switch on the back (next to the battery compartment) to the ON position and then press the touch screen button on the front bottom of the mirror to illuminate the twenty-one LED lights that surround the edges of the main mirror. To adjust the brightness of the lights, simply press and hold the touch screen button until the lights are at the level you desire. The mirror angle can be adjusted and the side panels will stay where you adjust them to have the best view.
It’s a very sturdy appliance, something I always look for when purchasing products for my home. Another neat little feature is the small indented tray at the base of the mirror that can hold small items like tweezers or earrings. You could even keep the cable for the mirror tucked there when not in use.
For on-the-go purposes, obviously the large vanity lamp isn’t going to be convenient unless you are taking a suitcase on vacation or a business trip or something like that. You will find the battery compartment in the base of the mirror alongside the ON/OFF switch. Four AAA batteries are included in the packaging. The mirror works the same way as its larger counterpart, just flip the switch to the ON position, press the touch screen button on the mirror surface and press and hold it to adjust the lighting to the level you need. It’s lightweight and sturdy, just like the vanity mirror.
What I like best about these mirrors is that they are really simple to use right out of the box. The vanity mirror does require a simple one-step assembly to slide the mirror onto the base but it only takes a few seconds to slide it in until it clicks. The travel mirror compact comes fully assembled. These are awesome beauty tools to have in dimly lit settings and are even beneficial for those with poor eyesight due to the crisp, clear magnification that they offer.
The only other thing you have to do is insert the batteries. You can be using these mirrors within about one minute of unpackaging. The LED lights never need to be replaced and cleanup is a breeze with just a damp cloth and glass cleaner. The mirror surfaces are distortion-free, and fingerprint and scratch-resistant. I am very impressed with the quality and sheer beauty of these mirrors.

I don’t think it’s available in white (at least not that I know of). If you do a Google search for “White Led Lighted Vanity Makeup Mirror” you would probably come up with some very similar mirror options, though. Good luck, hope you find one that suits your needs. This is one seriously awesome mirror! I don’t know how I managed makeup without it now!! 🙂
