Experience Pure Class with These 13 High-Value Rides

For many people, owning a luxury car is a dream, but prices seem to get higher yearly, with some vehicles offering second-to-none luxury. While they might be expensive, some are worth every penny, with incredibly comfortable seats, extra mod cons, and brilliant styling.

This list contains 13 of those luxury cars that are worth every dime. We've selected them based on their sale price and how much manufacturers pack into the package. Their performance and design play a part, too, as well as the value for money they hold.

Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

The current Cadillac CT5-B Blackwing represents a brilliant bang for your buck in 2024. Cadillac provides a luxurious sedan with performance that makes you feel like you are in a muscle car rather than a comfortable cruiser.

Under the hood, the CT5-V Blackwing packs a massive 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. A V8 engine that produces 668 horsepower (hp) and 659 lb-ft of torque. The astounding thing about the Blackwing is that it makes that much power for less than $100,000 without losing its luxury and comfort.

Acura MDX

Honda's luxury division, Acura, is fascinating. It doesn't make a big fuss about its lineup and just quietly offers some of the best luxury cars on the market. The latest MDX SUV is one of those and one that can easily take the fight to more expensive offerings from rivals Mercedes and Audi.

The MDX looks good in its Tiger Eye yellow paint and packs in 290 hp thanks to its 3.5-liter V6 engine and 355 hp from the 3.0-liter turbocharged Type S. Inside, the MDX is incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a panoramic moonroof allowing extra daylight to enter.

Lucid Air

What Lucid Motors has done in such a short time is remarkable. The Lucid Air is one of the best EVs on the market, providing a luxury that big manufacturers will look over their shoulders at. All of this is packaged into one of the best-looking electric cars currently on the market.

This luxury doesn't come cheap. The Lucid Air's base model starts at $69,990. But depending on the trim, you can get up to 1,234 hp and an exceptional 512 miles of range. That is undoubtedly enough to limit anyone's range anxiety!

Genesis G90

Hyundai is coming into its own, as is its luxury division, Genesis. Of all their luxury offerings, the G90 is the most impressive with its sleek, classy, and refined exterior design matched by the equally brilliant and comfortable interior. The only downside is the strange lack of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in a luxury sedan.

But you still get a brilliant machine with Nappa leather upholstery, genuine wood trim, and an onboard fragrance diffuser. The G90's power source is a 375 hp twin-turbo V6, and there is also a 409 hp version with an electric supercharger.

Polestar 2

No longer is Polestar the quirky electric division of Volvo. Polestar has become much more mainstream, and the latest Polestar 2 regularly ranks high on lists of luxury fastbacks. The model had a big update for 2024, improving the range up to 300 miles, adding standard equipment and more powerful front and rear motors.

The Polestar 2 has a unique shape that adds a layer of mystery to the car by not revealing what it really is. Power levels go up to 299 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque, and inside, you get Android and Apple connectivity and suitably comfortable seating.

Lexus ES

It was only natural that a Lexus would appear on this list, and that is precisely what you've got here. The ES debuted in 2019, and things got even better with the recent release of the 2024 model, providing an excellent alternative to the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series.

You get the usual tech, such as Android and Apple connectivity, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a SmartAcess Card key for the car. A range of powertrains is available, from the 2.5-liter inline-four with 203 horsepower to the 3.5-liter V6 of the ES350, producing 302 hp. The luxury is exceptional, as you would expect from Lexus, and a staggering 14 different models are available in the ES range.

Bentley Continental GT

Bentley is a name and a brand steeped in luxury and performance. Nowhere is this more on show than with the stunning Continental GT, which is now a staple part of the Bentley range. The Continental GT range has something for everyone, especially with the addition of a new hybrid V8 powertrain.

Traditionalists still have the option of a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 engine and the exceptional 6.0-liter W12 that propels the car to a top speed of 208 mph. It is hard to ignore the hybrid powertrain, which gives the Continental GT 771 hp.

Rolls-Royce Spectre

Mention the name Rolls-Royce to anyone, and you instantly think about the epitome of luxury. With a huge price tag of $420,000, you would hope that the Rolls-Royce Spectre offered plenty of luxury, and thankfully, that is precisely what it does. What's even better is that this is a fully electric Rolls-Royce.

The rear-hinged doors open to reveal unparalleled Rolls-Royce luxury, with premium metal surfaces, smooth leather, and genuine wood on the dashboard. Add in the 329-mile range of the Spectre, and we have an instant modern classic on our hands.

Lincoln Navigator

Large, bold, and cumbersome SUVs might not be to everyone's taste. However, Lincoln has done an excellent job with the current Navigator, compellingly arguing for the full-size luxury SUV. Lincoln spared no expense in providing peak passenger comfort with features such as adjustable electric seats and high-quality leather.

All this luxury does come with a price tag. While you aren't paying nearly half a million like with the Spectre, the Navigator still starts at a quite pricey $83,265. As we said at the start of this list, luxury does not come cheap.

Genesis GV60

There are not many luxury EVs on the market at the moment, but what is out there is undoubtedly good. The Genesis GV60 is no exception, and what makes it even better is that it sits on the same E-GMP platform as the Hyundai Ioniq5 and ‘6 and Kia EV6.

Not only is the GV60 an efficient and comfortable EV, but it also looks great. Its design is similar to that of the Ioniq 6, and it offers up to 280 miles of range and one of the most gorgeous interiors of any EV currently available.

Aston Martin Lagonda

It's time for a luxury classic. Few cars can match the sheer madness of the Aston Martin Lagonda, a full-size luxury saloon that Aston Martin launched in 1976. Initial versions were like spaceships, with their bonkers interiors made up of a digital instrument panel, with later versions featuring cathode ray tubes for the instrumentation.

The Lagonda didn't entirely sell as much as Aston Martin had hoped. Despite the 5.3-liter V8 under the hood, the design didn't appeal to everyone. Yet now, we look back on the wedge-shaped Lagonda as one of the most groundbreaking and pioneering cars of its time.

Rolls-Royce Ghost

Don't be fooled by the Ghost being Rolls-Royce's cheapest offering. You will still have to pay at least $250,000 to own one. But that doesn't stop it from being exceptional. Even a “cheap” Rolls-Royce still gets an excellent 6.75-liter V12 under the hood, producing 563 hp.

The Ghost still delivers the same luxury and refinement as any other model in the Rolls-Royce range. It's spacious, comfortable, and fast; buyers can customize the car to their heart's content. Just be wary of that big V12, which isn't exactly one of the most economical engines on the planet.

BMW 7 Series

Sadly, the one downside of the BMW 7 Series is its design. That massive grille continues BMW's trend of producing awkward and divisive designs, but thankfully, when inside, you don't need to look at the front of the sedan.

What you get for your $100,000 is a quiet, smooth, and brilliantly comfortable BMW that can even rival a Rolls-Royce in terms of comfort. BMW released the fully electric i7 to power the 7 Series into the electric era. The interior is comfortable and spacious, and there is also the option of a 31.3-inch 8K folding cinema screen to keep those in the back entertained and occupied.
