Visit Kahuzi Biega National Park

Kahuzi Biega National Park is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in the DR Congo. It is set in Bukavu just close to Goma Town. It was founded in 1970 and derives its name from Kahuzi and Biega Volcanoes. Kahuzi Biega National Park hosts the eastern lowland gorillas, buffaloes, elephants, giant forest hogs, antelopes and birds like the yellow crested helmet shrike, Congo peafowl, Rockefeller and many more.
