The hydraulic cylinder comes with hollow tubes with a lubricated and flexible piston. The cylinder traps the air without any leakage. With the increase of pressure, an upward force gets created. It moves the piston upwards, and thereby the work is performed. The method helps in elevating the load as well as lowering the load. The forklift pushes the fixed handle and pumps excess air inside the cylinder. In the reverse direction, there are special valves for releasing the gas and lowering the load.

 

  •   Roller chain pulley: The fork in front of the vehicle carries the load. It is permanently fixed with the main body and has a roller chain pulley attached to it. When the hydraulic piston pushes the mast, it comes in contact with a roller chain. The mechanism is quite complex and requires consistency and strength.
