Wine For Everyday
Family means everything to us and having family over is something we look forward to. Holidays have always been the biggest part of our lives, we love our family. Get-togethers always have the wine flowing and drinks. Our family are big wine drinkers and they love to laugh and tell stories,
The beauty of drinking wine is not just for its luxurious drinking etiquette and its ability to get a little tipsy, but for drinking wine that is also vegan, and vegan friendly. Another thing that is huge is the resveratrol level in this wine. I am not sure if you have heard about resveratrol but if you are aware of antioxidants you probably have heard of it. If you haven’t, resveratrol is an antioxidant that they say can help protect your body against damage that puts people at higher risk for cancer and heart disease. I have heard cardiologists talk about this a lot in my field of work. Grapes have it, and the grapes they use are grown in high altitudes which naturally yield higher concentrations of resveratrol.
Featuring crisp, lively and fresh flavors, Waipapa Bay Wines’ portfolio includes an award-winning sauvignon blanc, rosé, pinot gris and chardonnay. With vineyards in Marlborough and Canterbury, winemakers Brent and Shirley Rawstron strive to create wines with elegance and a sense of place that do justice to grapes grown with the utmost attention and care. The close proximity to the Pacific Ocean provides the ideal climatic conditions needed for vines to thrive and gives a signature style that carries through each of the four wines.
The name Waipapa (pronounced Why-papa) comes from the laid-back surf spot on the Pacific Ocean, a place of stunning, natural beauty. It is a fantastic spot for wildlife watching and inspired the label design. Waipapa Bay Wines is a proud supporter of Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) as the charity’s first wine industry corporate sponsor, a milestone in Waipapa Bay’s ongoing commitment to supporting global conservation and sustainability efforts.
My uncle loved this wine, and he was so happy and loved the way it tastes, and the fact that they give back is a plus.
