Year of the Pig: Do’s and Don’ts According to Your Zodiac Sign

Everyone loves a detailed account of what may or may not happen to them throughout the year, and this is why many of us turn to all kinds of outlets that claim to foretell our future. Many of us turn to tarot cards, and if you don’t know what that is, then this beginners guide to tarot cards is a good place to start. But you’ll find that most people turn to horoscopes to figure out what kind of relationships, financial situations, and just overall luck we may be having. Even though the majority of people are more familiar with the western Zodiac signs, there are also the Chinese signs, which come along with a different twist altogether. And this is what we’ll be taking a more in depth look at  this article.

The Chinese horoscopes are a little different. You figure out which animal you fall under using your birthday, year and month. And every year, a certain animal dominates that year with its qualities; good and bad alike. The Chinese zodiac runs over twelve years, each year represented by a different animal. And it just so happens that 2019 is the year of the Pig. But what does that actually mean for you and the zodiac sign you fall under?

  1. THE RAT

The Rat is the first in the 12 year cycle. All in all, the year of the Pig looks like it’s going to be a good one for the Rat! It’s certainly going to be better than the last one (the year of the Dog). Relationships are going to be really good for you this year if you’re single, but if you’re not, be wary of temptation. Your health should have no issues either. Your career should be skyrocketing, especially if you’re interested in starting your own business.

The year of the Pig for the Ox will consist of ups and downs, but will definitely be more stable than the past year. Communication needs to be worked on, but this should be a good year, regardless of whether you’re single or not. Even though it may be a challenging year for your career, try not to overwork yourself because it will affect your physical health.

The year of the Pig will hold both sides of the coin for the Tiger. It may be a bit difficult, but success is not hard to achieve. You’re not likely to find your soulmate if you’re single, but if not, there should be a special milestone looming in the horizon of this year. Take care of your health because if not, you are more susceptible to illness. It should be a fruitful year for your career so keep working hard.

The Rabbit is going to have a year that will have ups and downs, and definitely a lot of change. You’re bound to meet a lot of interesting people, but this isn’t the year where you’re going to meet the one. Pay close attention to your health and diet, because it’s going to be an intense year of success for your career!

This year will hold less obstacles than the last year for the Dragon. Relationships will be great, but don’t go overboard with the casual encounters, otherwise you may miss out on a special someone! Career and health are looking good so no worries there as long as you’re on track.

This will be a challenging year for the Snake, but does not have to be a bad one though. Stay active and pay close attention to opportunities at work. It doesn’t look like there’s going to be a ton of romance either, but it’s a good rule for reflection.

It looks like the Horse is going to have a good year from all angles- health, relationships and careers are bound to blossom.

The Goat has had a rough couple of years, but now it’s time for things to look up! All aspects should be on the rise, the only thing is that you need to keep control of your moodiness.

The lighthearted Monkey should be able to have a well deserved good and eventful year this year. The last 2 years have been filled with hardship, so it’s about time! Even though it will be positive money-wise, the career might take a blow, but nothing you can’t pick yourself up from.

The year of the Pig is going to be a little bit of up and down for the Rooster. But nothing you can’t work your way out of if you just stay calm and persevere. The good news is, you won’t have as much pressure on your body and mind overall.

This can be a trying year for the Dog. In order for it to run smoothly, you will have to adapt a more laid back approach towards all aspects of your life.

Even though it is the year of the Pig, traditionally, with the Chinese zodiac, this does not mean good news. It may  be a difficult year so it would be a good idea to stick it out and try your best to be positive.
