Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia, between China and India. It's known for several mountains and its rich culture. It's a very beautiful country with lots to offer for the traveler. Here are 8 beautiful places worth visiting when you're in Nepal.

1. Rara Lake 

Rara Lake is a naturally beautiful place in Nepal. It is situated at an altitude of about 2,600 meters above sea level and is surrounded by green hills, meadows and forests. The lake was formed thousands of years ago from a glacier.

The Rara Lake trek will take you through some of the most spectacular scenery in Nepal. You will see the mountains and hills covered with snow, glaciers and lakes as well as many villages. The trek itself is not difficult but it does require some fitness due to the high altitude which can cause altitude sickness if you are not careful.

2. Panch Pokhari

Panch Pokhari is located in the district of Dolakha. Panch Pokhari is also known as five ponds and is situated at an elevation of 1,890 m above sea level. The five ponds are connected by rivulets and streams that flow from the Himalayas to form the Pokhara River.

It has been called one of the most beautiful places in Nepal. The five ponds are surrounded by lush green forests and hills that surround them like a natural protective barrier. This makes it a perfect place for trekking, hiking, camping and fishing. The climate there is moderate throughout the year with temperatures ranging between 10 to 30 degrees Celsius during summer and 0 to 5 degrees Celsius in winter.

3. Chitwan National Park
