Let Your Wanderlust Lead You into These Amazing Professions

Wanderlust is settling back into the hearts of the average person, and with it is coming a wistful dream that you could travel for more than just vacations.  Not everyone can handle sitting at the same desk year after year: but if you want more, what can you do?

These careers each offer the chance to make the world your office and may allow you to travel as much as you want as long as you can keep up with the demand!  Consider which one suits you best.

Flight Attendant

Being a flight attendant is one of the original jet-setting jobs that travelers used to be inspired into.  This role often comes with discounts, allowing you to save money while you see the world and possibly fly anywhere for free.

On top of this, working while you travel means you won't have to pay for lodging: allowing you to visit anywhere on a dime!

Teaching English Abroad

If you want to live abroad for a year or two at a time: teaching English abroad is an amazing way to enjoy this!  There's nothing quite like teaching to allow you to connect to the heart of an area and get to know what the people are truly like.

Not all teaching positions will make you teach kids; some are for adults, including companies that hire English teachers to educate their employees.

Freelance Writing

Writing is a job that requires a keen eye for detail and near-constant inspiration.  Thankfully, travel is great for both.  As a freelance writer, you can enjoy either working online regardless of where you live or even picking up gig jobs based on where you are!

This could mean writing for travel blogs or creating destination vacation how-tos for the average person. The best part is, you’ll get to set your own schedule, and enjoy paradise whenever you want!

Working on a Cruise Ship

Cruise ships are polarizing depending on whether or not you like to be on the open water.  As a worker on one of these vessels, you're allowed to see the world and reap the benefits the average cruise vacationer gets without having to pay the bill they do.

This is one of the best travel jobs because you won’t have to take the same cruise every single time, allowing you to explore the world while getting paid to do so!

Become a Specialized Instructor

Many vacation towns only need instructors for the main attractions for a handful of months out of the year.  This means that you'll be able to work as a scuba, ski, or rock climbing instructor in a different area every year as long as you can find a place that's willing to hire you!

The great part of this job is that if you're skilled enough, you can specialize in two main jobs, which will allow you to teach scuba in the summer and skiing in the winter!

You Can Turn a Career into Constant Vacations!

Of course, you'll want to be able to make a living: but your career shouldn't be what holds you back!  Consider one of these awesome professions, and you may be able to travel whenever you want to!
